How Can You Get Involved?

Jamestown offers a wealth of volunteer opportunities, including:

Tutoring a young person one on one - Once you are matched with a young person, you'll meet with them once a week for an hour or more to work on their homework and basic skills. You'll find that you quickly become more than just a tutor as your friendship with your youth grows over time.
Coaching sports teams - Teach a team of Jamestown youth to play the sport you love. Teams generally practice once or twice a week. We play soccer (year-round), basketball (winter), baseball (summer), and softball (summer).

Fundraising - Join our fundraising team, the Jamestown Council. As a member of this group, you will help Jamestown bring in new sources of funding to support our youth programs. If you like throwing parties, join the Friends of Jamestown, our event-planning committee.

Make a donation - Support our education and recreation programs.
