Parent Organizing

The Parent Organizing program at Jamestown has as its goal to engage, train, and support parents as they exercise leadership in the public schools and communities where they live and their children attend school. Utilizing adult popular education methodologies and its positive youth development framework, Jamestown recruits parents and trains and supports them as they engage in the transformation of school structure to better meet the needs of low income families and English Language Learners.
