What is Jamestown?

Jamestown is a Mission neighborhood-based organization serving low income youth and their families with free and affordable high quality programs since 1971! We offer tutoring, academic enrichment, social/emotional support, sports, youth workforce development, family support services. Having recently merged with Loco Bloco, we also provide artivism and Afro-Latino arts education and performance.

We are particularly proud of our YAPster program, where high school youth work as teacher assistants in our afterschool, get support to attend college, and then 100% go to college! Jamestown builds lifelong connections with all our youth, walking alongside them from Kinder through high school and then they come back and help us develop the next generation of local youth, all part of the Jamestown familia cycle!

This Kick-Off Benefit is a wonderful opportunity to meet your neighbors and local business owners while learning more about the incredible staff, programming and services that Jamestown provides to the children & families it serves here in our neighborhood.

  • We appreciate you joining the Jamestown community by adding your name and address here.

  • We’d love if you share this Save-the-Date with your friends — it’s a community event!

  • Street parking is limited - we encourage taking a car share service
