Staff Bio

Ariel Esqueda, a San Francisco native, has been part of Jamestown Community Center since 2007. As Sports Director, she finds inspiration in providing a safe and inclusive space where youth can be active, healthy, and engaged through sports. Ariel’s lifelong passion for sports and commitment to community empowerment come together in her leadership role at Jamestown.

Ariel holds a B.A. in Psychology from Dominican University and a Master’s in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco. She also possesses a USSF E Coaching License. Before joining Jamestown, Ariel worked as a Youth Counselor at St. Vincent’s School for Boys, supporting foster youth.

Outside of work, Ariel is a proud left-hander who enjoys tacos and spending quality time with her twin daughters. She values the opportunities Jamestown provides for youth and families and appreciates being part of an organization that invests in both community impact and staff professional development.
