Sports Department
Jamestown’s Sports Department provides youth a safe and inclusive space to participate in physical activity through year-round recreational and competitive soccer teams, a school-year girls-identified soccer league, and summer sports camps.
While having lots of fun being physically active, Jamestown youth and their families will learn:
Commitment: Youth commit to programming throughout the year and understand their commitment's impact on their growth and success.
Positive Sporting Behavior: Youth demonstrate respectful behavior whether they win or lose and learn the importance of working hard, being a leader, and demonstrating teamwork.
Leadership: Youth will learn to speak up for each other, appreciate differences, find common ground, and exercise kindness and respect for all players, coaches, opponents, and referees.
Fun: Youth will enjoy their experience because they learn in a safe environment and feel respected.
