Staff Bio

Dayanara Weisenburger joined Jamestown in 2023 and is inspired every day by the students she serves. She began as a summer teacher and now manages the same school where she started, motivated by seeing students grow, learn, and seek support when they need it. The relationships she has built with youth and families keep her committed to Jamestown’s mission and community.

Dayanara began her career in education while studying in Madrid, teaching students ages 7 to 13. Although she first earned her flight attendant license, she soon discovered her passion for youth work. Since joining Jamestown, she has grown from teacher to coordinator and now manager, bringing dedication and leadership to each role.

Originally from Ecuador and raised in Spain, Dayanara now lives in San Francisco. She loves traveling, exploring new cultures, trying new foods, and listening to music.
