Gibran Gonzalez
Youth workforce manager
Gibran Gonzalez has been a vital part of the Jamestown Community Center community for over 20 years. Born and raised in San Francisco’s Mission District, Gibran first joined Jamestown at age 9 through the JT Soccer team. Throughout his youth, he participated in the Youth Led Evaluator (YLE) Program and served as a Youth Apprentice. His deep roots with the organization continued as he progressed to roles such as Site Assistant and Extended Learning Manager at Chavez before becoming Jamestown’s current Youth Workforce Manager.
With over five years of experience in youth development, Gibran brings dedication and firsthand understanding of the community’s needs to his leadership role. He values the opportunity to work with generations of families and takes pride in seeing former participants return and stay connected to the community. Having grown from a young participant to a leader, Gibran is passionate about giving back to the organization that helped guide him.
Outside of work, Gibran enjoys long peaceful walks, watching soccer with family and friends, and attending sports events around the Bay Area. He is a regular at Oracle Park, cheering on his favorite teams.
