Your support goes beyond dollars - it fuels curiosity
When school is out, 586 low-wage working families count on Jamestown’s Summer Programs to keep their children safe, engaged, and learning. Your gift gives kids a summer filled with discovery and provides parents with the peace of mind they deserve.
Your gift ensures that:
Children have hands-on learning and enrichment instead of long, unsupervised hours at home.
Parents can work full shifts with confidence that their kids are supported and cared for.
Youth experience a summer filled with curiosity, creativity, and growth — not isolation or learning loss.
Pathways to Purpose and Possibility
Through the Youth Apprenticeship Program (YAP), high school students gain access to the kind of support every young person deserves: caring mentors, workplace coaching, financial literacy, and the chance to build real experience in a safe and encouraging environment.
YAP helps youth imagine possibilities they may not have seen before, in college, in careers, and in themselves. With mentorship, paid internships, and steady encouragement, YAP gives young people the skills and confidence to take their next steps with pride.
Your investment helps students step into their future with confidence.
“The Strengthening Families Program changed the way we communicate at home.”
“The Strengthening Families Program has helped my family so much. I first took the program four years ago with my older son, and this year I took it again with my younger one. The program taught me how to talk with my child about sensitive topics. I love learning alongside other families and gaining new tools to support my sons. The facilitators understand us and guide us with compassion and real-life experience. I am grateful to everyone who makes this program possible. It has made a positive difference in both of my sons’ lives and in mine.”
