Staff Bio

Heidi Herrera has been part of the Jamestown Community Center family since 2018. Inspired by the unique community Jamestown has built—where families and students grow from Kindergarten through adulthood—Heidi values the deep connections and continuity that make the organization special.

Heidi’s journey with Jamestown began as a high school YAPster in 2016, where she benefited from mentorship that shaped her personal and professional growth. She later worked as an after-school teacher for 1st through 3rd grades at Buena Vista Horace Mann before moving into her current role as PaFSS Manager. Heidi holds a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from San Francisco State University.

Heidi appreciates the community atmosphere across all Jamestown sites and values the professional growth opportunities the organization provides. Outside of work, she enjoys scrapbooking memories with loved ones, traveling, and attending concerts. A fan of Reggaeton music, Heidi especially loves listening to Bad Bunny. Her favorite food is ramen, and her favorite movie is Disney’s Meet the Robinsons. She looks forward to future travels to Puerto Rico and Europe.
