Joseph Mill Hernandez

Office Assistant

Joseph Mill Hernandez joined Jamestown in 2025 as an Office Assistant, bringing a strong commitment to community service shaped by his upbringing in an immigrant family. Having personally witnessed the challenges many families face, Joseph is deeply inspired by Jamestown’s mission to uplift and support youth and families. He is especially grateful to contribute to programs that provide affordable services and meaningful opportunities for young people to thrive.

Joseph holds two Associate’s degrees from Contra Costa College, including a degree in Business Office Technology: General Office. Through his studies, he developed strong communication skills in professional settings and gained experience in office administration, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. In his role at Jamestown’s Main Office, Joseph applies these skills to help ensure operations run smoothly and that families receive the support they need.

Born and raised in San Pablo, California, Joseph spent much of his formative years attending school and engaging with the community in San Francisco. Outside of work, he enjoys watching and playing sports, especially basketball and soccer, and is an enthusiastic fan of video games and collectibles such as Funko Pops and comic books. He has a deep appreciation for music across many genres and eras, from hip hop and contemporary R&B to Música Mexicana. One of his dreams is to travel to Tokyo, Japan, drawn by its culture, creativity, and car scene.
