Staff Bio

Kelly Jimenez began her journey with Jamestown Community Center as a tutor in 2013 and returned in the summer of 2018. Growing up in the Mission district, Kelly witnessed firsthand the positive impact Jamestown had on her friends and family. As an employee, she continues to be inspired by how the organization uplifts new generations through its programming and employment opportunities, supporting growth and career development.

With 8 years of experience working with youth and in child care, Kelly transitioned to her current role as HR Assistant in 2022. Her background equips her with a strong understanding of the needs of youth and staff alike, allowing her to contribute effectively to Jamestown’s community-focused mission.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys reading across various genres, with a particular fondness for horror. She values continual learning and often explores new creative skills such as embroidery, card making, and sewing. Kelly’s favorite food varies with the seasons. Her favorite movie is Batman Returns (1992), and her favorite book is The Shining by Stephen King.
