Lina Tam Li
Payroll Specialist
Lina Tam Li began working at Jamestown Community Center in 2017, driven by her passion for helping her community and celebrating her cultural heritage. Lina discovered her commitment to youth empowerment during her college years while studying business and administration. A volunteer experience at a local church supporting youth with homework and STEAM projects revealed her calling to work with young people and inspired her dedication to service.
Since then, Lina has remained focused on uplifting low-income communities and at-risk youth. Guided by empathy, purpose, and a strong belief in every young person’s potential, she creates meaningful opportunities that foster growth, confidence, and lifelong success.
Outside of work, Lina enjoys taking long walks around San Francisco to appreciate the city’s architectural beauty. She channels her creativity into designing oversized 3D letters, party favor boxes, interactive cake toppers, and DIY felt activities for her daughters—crafting these projects with her Cricut machine.
