Staff Bio
Steven Manzo
Sports Manager
Steven Manzo Jr. joined Jamestown Community Center in 2025, inspired by the opportunity to serve the vibrant Hispanic community that Jamestown supports. Growing up in a small town in the East Bay, Steven experienced firsthand the scarcity of Latinx-centered spaces. He values Jamestown’s commitment to fostering and creating these inclusive environments, which was a significant factor in his decision to join the team.
Steven holds three Associate of Arts degrees in Political Science, Social Science, and Communications. Before coming to Jamestown, he worked as a Youth Development Professional at the Boys and Girls Club of America and as a Physical Education teacher within Oakland’s charter school system.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and traveling. His favorite movie is Forrest Gump, his favorite TV show is Silo on Apple TV, and his favorite food is chicken flautas.
